Tests and conclusion
We have a Dual 800 card, the CPUs on it being rated at 867. We had to correct this debilitation !We therefore decided to make it a Dual 900MHz.
After 5 mn to unsolder 4 resistors and 10 to resolder 2 in the right place, we booted up the machine full of apprehension.
BAM!!! we had a Dual 900 !
The card now blows off 6000 Mflops !
In conclusion, we'll keep repeating that overclocking is not an exact science, but when it works it's a real bliss.
